The Wheatsheaf

The Wheatsheaf is at the heart of the community in Chilton Foliat. Having seen uncertain times and many tenants for many years previously, this characterful pub has now been run by Landlady Tracy Crump for over FOUR YEARS -something of a record! Regular events each month, a welcoming atmosphere and a real effort to embrace the community have given Chilton Foliat residents renewed confidence that The Wheatsheaf is the warm, inviting village local that they have always wanted. As well as providing hospitality for family events and social groups, the pub plays a large part in the Village Fete and hosts an annual 'Flower & Vegetable Show and Beer Festival'. Customers also visit the Wheatsheaf to pick up their weekend bread which is sourced from superb bakers in nearby Great Bedwyn. With local guest beers and ever-friendly service, villagers and visitors needn't look elsewhere for a great experience!
